Remember Jack Handy?
I don’t know if any of you remember “Deep Thoughts” by Jack Handy, but I loved them. They were my favorite part of SNL for a long time. I was out surfing and came across this guy who has a ton of the classics listed. Including two of my all-time favorites:

It’s easy to sit there and say you’d like to have more money. And I guess that’s what I like about it. It’s easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money.
He has a whole great big list of them here.

haha! so many good features from SNL have long gone by the wayside. fun to read the quips you posted here!
Yeah I miss some of the stuff from SNL from when I was a kid. Like Samurai Baker, Mr Robinson’s Neighborhood, Bill Murray’s Lounge Singer, The News with Jane Curtain and Chevy Chase, and of course Rosanne Rosanadana.
Haven’t watched SNL in years, but I LOVED the Hillary/Palin skit when I saw it on YouTube.
