What a day!

On this day in 1964 the world improved significantly although most people missed it completely. You would have thought it would have occasioned much rejoicing and celebration… but as far as I know the day simply passed away as though it were any other day. What a shame to miss such an obvious excuse to party.

We think Stace is awesome! Let's all celebrate Stace's Birthday!

We think Stace is awesome! Let's all celebrate Stace's Birthday!

Don’t let the same horrible thing happen to you this year… take this opportunity to party hard cause it’s Stace’s Birthday! That’s right… Stace turns 44 today.

That means she’s finally older than me again. I admit that it’s always hard to wait during those few months between July and November when we are the same age. No Stace is an old lady jokes… no offering her my arm cause she’s probably frail what with being so much older than me… no asking if she’s up to driving at her advanced age….

Ugh! It’s so hard to be patient through the late summer and early fall when we’re the same age. Then┬áNovember finally rolls around and she’s suddenly OLD again. Hurrah!! It’s one of my favorite days of the year.

Happy Birthday, Stace!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes you young whipper-snapper.

I wish I could tell you everything this birthday means to me but you’re too young and immature to understand it. And anyway, it would take a long time to type and my lumbago is acting up today. Add that to the rheumatizim in my fingers and you can see why I’m not up to much typing.

Now you better get yourself on up to bed… isn’t it past your bedtime, Missy?

    Happy Birthday Stace!

We get the gift because I enjoy anything you guys write.

Hope 44 is a good year for both of you. Have a lovely day celebrating. And driving, I guess….

    Happy Birthday, Stace!!!!

Is this what I have to look forward to when I’m 44 – lumbago, rheumatoid arthritis and a snarky partner? lol

Unfortunately for me, I will ALWAYS be older than my partner since Eddie is EIGHT years younger than I am. UGH!

Hope your day is wonderful and you get to eat cake!

CAPTCHA: Majesty’s Highways (oh look – they named a route after you for your birthday!)

PS: 44 is the new cool word.

    As in, Pres-Elect 44….

How prescient of Stace and Hedon both to be 44 in this historic year to come….

Thanks for your kind wishes everybody. I think 44 is probably going to be a good age. It’s two even numbers that add up to my favorite number — 8. And of course I’m turning this age in the year ’08.

It’s probably some magical mystical alignment meaning I will have some great achievement this year. Or maybe I’ll be really lucky and finally win the lottery. Or I will find something I lost a long time ago. Or I’ll meet a dark mysterious stranger. Oh wait… I forgot… I may be old but I’m still a rational human being.

Ok, so this year will probably be like every other year except these damned hot flashes will probably get longer and more intense. Sometimes, it sucks to be rational. What channel is that John Edwards show on?
