And I can see your point. The movie was just a little too manic for me. Gabby...ooooh! I loved Amelie. It's on my list of "favorite movies" and if I hadn't put Milk on this list, Amelie would have probably taken its place (charming). Rassles...I might have seen the whole thing, but honestly I can't remember....that's how horrible I think The Big Lebowski is. Actually, I hate all Coen brother's movies...they just aren't my type of flick. And if my boyfriend says "Dude" one more time, I think I might push him out of the truck. Had to think on this a couple of days to narrow it down. In no particular order 1. Amelie--quirky and such rich saturated colors 2. Smilla's Sense of Snow-gorgeous colors again and the oh so beautiful Gabriel Byrne 3. The Commitments-Awesome music 4. The Perfect Storm-like Chaos, I bawl like a baby every time I watch it 5. Brotherhood of the Wolf--horror done right 6. Shaun of the Dead--Well, pretty much anything with Simon Pegg 7. The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert 8. Wallace and Gromit anything--animation does count, doesn't it? :) 9. Immortal and The Fifth Element--I will watch anything sci-fi but these are among my faves 10. I just watched The Perfect Storm again, and realized that it also belongs on my top 10 list. Brings me to tears every time. Also, for anyone who likes that sort of movie, you might try watching Deadliest Catch. I love that show! (It also brings me to tears sometimes. Lol.)
