picky picky picky! Our anniversary last week was either # 12 or # 44, since we got married in ’66, divorced in ’76 and remarried in 98. We have decided to forego having 2 annis a yeafr and just bridge them and celebrate the original one in August..beter weather then, anyway

My father thought I was accusing him and Mom of nefarious pre-marital activity when I called and congratulated them on their anniversary, subtracting a year which would have made my appearance 2 months before the faulty math wedding quite untoward. They were, in fact, married 10 months when I showed up…
But since illegitimate children aren’t a concern for you or your anniversary, it doesn’t really matter, give or take a year.
