Road Pics

Here is a facility we were at yesterday in New Jersey. I know some of you who read here a lot might think I’m always picking on Jersey, but come on how am I supposed to ignore all the ammo they are always throwing at me? Anyway, I thought this place was totally skeezy and totally cool.

Here’s how ”Road Pics” all came about back in the day:

I was thinking it might be fun to have a page of pictures that we take on the road. We see some pretty amazing stuff out here. Some good. Some bad.

The only real delay to getting this page up and running is the fact that we have yet to get a digital camera. We have been debating what to get for like 5 years now. I swear we’re on the verge of becoming neo-luddites. We will agree that we’re ready to get a camera then when we face the 10,000 options out there and the amount of research required to make an informed decision…. well… we seem to form an unspoken pact to forget about it for a few more months.

But this time I am determined! I will venture forth (soon) and return home with a new digital camera in hand. Men will cheer and women will weep! It will be cause for celebrations the likes of which have not been seen since the Crusaders returned home with sand in their armour! Stace will treat me like her vanquishing hero returning from a horrible horrible quest. And swoon when I hand her the untold riches I have earned. Wooo Hooo!

I am easily impressed with myself. The trick is to set the bar low.

Actual pics coming soon….

Finally some pics! You can see the complete set of Road Pics here. Most recent pics are below:

Thanks, Erin. Glad you liked them. I’m sad to say that for quite a long time I forgot that we had finally bought a camera. But now that I’ve remembered we have one, I will probably be adding new pics soon.

What is that, a grease gun? I like it. I have to remember to actually get out of the truck next time Ed is in a service bay…usually I don’t even open the door for fear of “grease monkey smell” wafting in!
